The Story
The sea had been holding its anger for days.
By dawn, it could hold no more. Waves rose from the deep and crashed against the dark rocks, breaking into white spray. The wind blew them onward, one after another, as though the ocean were speaking in a language only the shore could understand.
Far beyond the breakers, a small island remained. Its palms bent low beneath the storm, but they did not break. They had faced this fury before and knew that even the wildest sea must eventually grow quiet.
Anger can be like that. It rises, darkens the sky, and makes us believe it will last forever. Yet beneath the turmoil, the tide is always moving toward calm.
Angry Sea is not only a painting of a storm. It is a reminder that strength is not always found in stillness. Sometimes it is found in standing through the waves and remaining when they have passed.
