The Story
He did not inherit his place among them.
He earned it.
Through winters that buried weaker men, battles that broke entire kingdoms, and losses that left their marks upon his face, he remained standing.
The others do not follow him because he demands their loyalty. They follow because he has never asked them to walk a path he would not walk first.
When danger waits beyond the firelight, he is the first to rise.
When hunger comes, his people eat before he does.
When battle calls, he stands at the front. He does not fight for glory. He fights so those behind him may return home.
The mark across his face carries the memory of an oath made long ago. It is a promise to protect his people, preserve their stories, and never allow fear to decide their fate.
He carries the names of the fallen in silence. Their courage lives within him, and their unfinished promises have become his own.
Yet beneath the fur, the markings, and the weight of command remains the heart of a man.
There is one woman who remembers him before the battles, before the scars, and before the others looked to him for every answer.
She does not see a legend.
She sees the man who promised to return.
Wolves do not follow the loudest among them. They follow the one who knows the way through darkness.
He is their protector.
He is their leader.
He is The First Among Wolves.
